Frequently Asked Questions

What is SeniorGenie.com?

Senior Genie™ is the online resource for seniors to find discount coupons and information about businesses in vacation and retirement areas.  We include everything from art to wineries/spirits.  If it interests seniors, we will post it.

Why should I join Senior Genie™?

First, you are entered in a drawing that we give away every quarter.  Second, coupons may only be printed by members - all visitors may see the coupon offers, but only members are permitted to view and print the actual coupon images.  Third, only members are eligible to receive special offers from participating businesses.

Are there any hidden costs if I join?

No.  There are never any costs for Senior Genie™ members.

Will you share my information?

You have the option to receive special offers from businesses that advertise on Senior Genie™.  If you choose to receive the special offers, the participating advertisers will receive your contact information.  If you choose not to receive the special offers, your information will remain private.

Why do I need to join to get coupons?

We want our coupons to be exclusive.  Businesses are willing to give better discounts and deals to us because they know we only allow members to print their coupons.  They also know that Senior Genie™ members will be more likely to actually come in and use their coupons.

Does my spouse need to join if I am a member?

No.  When you join, you must enter your spouse's name on the sign-up form.  This ensures that both of your names appear on the coupons.

I forgot my password.  How can I retrieve it?

Click Sign In in the upper right of the page.  Then click the link labeled "Don't remember your password?" at the bottom of the sign-in form.  In the password reminder form that follows, enter your e-mail address and click Continue and your password will be e-mailed to you.

I recently changed my e-mail address.  Do I need to change it on my Senior Genie™ membership?

Yes.  Click Contact Us in the upper right of the page and e-mail your old e-mail address and your new e-mail address.

How do I change the name or address that you have on file for me?

Click Contact Us in the upper right of the page and e-mail your previous name and/or address and your new name and/or address.  Please include your e-mail address.

Can I make purchases directly from Senior Genie™?

No.  However, if a business has a web site, we link to that site.  The business's web site may allow online purchases.

Why don't you have more coupons available?

We are a new site and most businesses do not know about us yet.  The more businesses hear about us and advertise on Senior Genie™, the more coupons will be available.  Tell your favorite businesses that they need to put their coupons on Senior Genie™!

How often do you add new cities and areas to Senior Genie™?

We will be adding new cities and areas every two to four weeks, depending on the size of the area.  After we have added all of the obvious places, we will take suggestions from our members on which places to add next.
